If I Had You > Performance

Hi Folks, This week I would like you to get familiar with my version of "If I Had You". Next week I will post a new lesson here breaking down the chords and how to approach the rhythm to it. Then we will move on to the melody and solo. Right now I am finishing up the last few shows of the never ending tour.

See you next week. Duke

Hi Robert .. you're correct.  I've updated the B7b5.

Hi Tom .. thank you.  You're correct on the Db13 and yes, Duke had a different voicing for the Fm7.

Hi All .. please accept my apologies on the errors.  Duke is going to walk through all of these chords in detail this coming Friday.

I could be wrong but is the 4th chord B7flat 5 not Bflat7flat 5 .this would give it the same structure as the dominant 7th ie F7 with a flat 5 in the bass.Sounds right when I play it.Thanks for all the great lessons; not enough hours in the day!!
