A lot of the elements we've been working with and talking about are present here: repetition, variations on repetition, building intensity, use of the third hole blow in conjunction with the 2 draw to help the flow and maximize the groove. Another thing that we've gone over before that plays a role in this section are the ghost notes supporting the groove. I neglected to call attention to them in the lesson, so here's a little test: See if you can identify where the ghost notes are...

Hi Rick !! i d like to know ; on the 1 , is there ghost blow or draw chords between the Bop Bop ??
André
Hi Andre - Good ear! Usually there is a little exhale ghost chord in that spot.
Wow ... The Groove or the Rhythm ... I don t know loll ... but the way that Verse is constructed ... so good !!
I am having such a great time-and learning so much! You have really helped me play with more percussion and rhythm.
I'm real happy to hear that, Daniel! Percussion and rhythm = groove! Groove and tone are the 2 things that can really make one's harp playing effective. Keep up the good work!
