Chicago Shuffle

Verse 1 Breakdown - I and IV Chord

We're re-issuing one of Rick's most popular lessons with re-mastered video and updated loop points. From Rick:

In this lesson we begin learning the piece by going over the I and the IV or first and second change of the first verse. Some of the musical devices and components contained and addressed in this lesson are glissandos, rhythm chords, bends and (as always) groove!

Rick

Note: We're trying something new in this lesson - a visual practice loop where you can see the pitch and all the detail of Rick's phrasing and bends.  Please let us know what you think.

Wow- this is a great iinnovation!  Saves a ton of time either for the instructor laying out notes- or for student transcribing.

Also think it helps get a feel for the rhythm and nuances

Huge fan- is this hard to add to all harp lessons?

whats the plan?

THANK YOU!

Hi Chris - I'm really glad you're finding this new innovation helpful! it was all Sonic Junction's idea, and apparently a good one!
