Great lesson Rick.  Under the video it says G Harp, but are you using the Marine Band 364 Low C?

Is it the same key you use also for On The Harp Side version?

Thanks

Tom P.

Hi Tom -- This lesson is on a G. It looks like a low C 'cause I'm using a Marine Band 364, but this one is in the key of G. I normally play this type of thing on a low C, but Jerry had the forsight to suggest I play it on a G as everyone won't have a low C.

This is awesome! I've been wondering about this facet of Sonny Boy's playing for years. Thank you!!!

Hi Daniel - Join the club! I'm still wondering about it! I'm able to approximate some aspects, and in my own way I can do something like what he did, but they definitely broke the mold when they made Sonny Boy!

This is meaty Rick...thanks so much.  Looks we have some homework this week.  I'll practice back & forth to work, I always say "keep both knees on the wheel at all times".

Don't sweat it Rick...You did well..I was worried about you teaching the "groove" concept because in the DVD you had to cover alot of material in a short amount of time and move on. This lesson you had the time to break it down....Thanks!....Oh one more thing...before this lesson series is over can you do the famous quote just for the fun of it...."You gotta keep it in your ______" ? (I don't want to spoil it....lol)

We'll see Robert, - Maybe - I never know what I might say.
