Hey Sonic Junction -
Rick Estrin here. I'm back with the first lesson on this thing I called Bo Dee's Bounce. We're using an A harp in the key of E, and in this lesson, I break down the first 12 bars, or the "head" of the piece. There're not a lot of different techniques employed in this verse - Just some bends and note shaping. There are however, some subtleties to the timing of those bends that can make all the difference in the end effect. As always, the more you can get the groove right, and the better you cop the rhythmic feel, the better this piece'll work for you. Have fun with it and I'll see you next week.
