Hello Friends, This weeks lesson is on soloing on Shivers. I decided to take a different aproach this time and give you some riffs and ideas to build you solos off of. Some are parts of various Charlie Christian riffs and some are riffs and ideas similar to lines we have used in other swing tunes. Now of course there are many other ways to approach soloing on this but I want to build on what we have been working on all along, which is simple swing-jump style playing. I'm Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for this tune. next lesson is on the bridge and last A section.

Beautiful Duke! I swear I can hear some New Orleans Jazz in some of the Charlie Christian riffs. That last descending riff in particular. Great stuff.
