Mean Old World > Intro Breakdown

Here's the breakdown of the intro for Little Walter's "Mean Old World". This starts on the five chord and involves warbling while tongue blocking (something we haven't done before) and a slide from 3 draw to 1 draw that requires precise bent notes as you go from the third hole to the second hole. Be sure to click on the link to Little Walter's original version.

Jerry at the very beginning, you sound very percussive. Are you toungue slapping those first few notes?

Nicely done! The last three notes before the final warble are a bit staccato but, really, a very good job.

My attempt at "Mean Old World" Intro slowly

P.S.

I tongue block everything except the 1 hole
