Main Riff and Body of Tune

Corey Harris Lesson >

That's Alright > Main Riff and Body of Tune

This week we will tackle the main riff of the song, showing you the basic fingerpicking pattern that you will need to begin playing it. Don't forget that your most important tool in learning a new song will always be LISTENING. Once you have the sound thoroughly imprinted in your head, you will be able to play it well. So spend as much time as possbile listening to the song and analyzing it. This song is simple to play, but don't make the mistake of rushing through it, thinking it is easy! Take all the time you need so that when you begin singing, the acompaniment on the guitar will seem like second nature. Enjoy!
