Someone to Love > Chords and Rhythm

Hi Folks,

This week we start a new song. It's one of the most powerful blues ballads of all time. Percy Mayfield's "Please Send Me Someone To Love." We'll do it in the original key of G. This week we learn the rhythm guitar in the 4/4 swing style. We will have a full guitar bass and drum rhythm section for you soon to play with.

Have fun with this one!

Enjoy,

Duke

Hey Duke! "Please Send Me Someone To Love" is one of my all time favorites! I have a 78 of it! "Lost MInd" is, of course, incredible too. I think Mose Allison must have been very influenced by Percy. Great stuff! Looking forward to working on this.

Hi Bruce, It's definably one of or maybe even the best of the blues ballads by anyone! And it's fun to play also. Duke
