Same Old Blues

Solo Breakdown, Part 1

Hi Friends,

This weeks lesson is on the solo for Same Old Blues. We are going to learn Little Milton's solo chorus just as he played it on the original recording. Lots of great licks here and he plays in a familiar but unique style with lots of cool subtleties. Although Milton's style was based on BB King's he had an element that was all his own. This is a great chorus and it's lots of fun to play. This week we tackle the first half of the chorus.

Enjoy,

Duke
