No one can deny that the blues and spirituals go hand in hand. So this week we will begin learning the classic spiritual, Pass Me Not Oh Gentle Savior. Pay close attention to your alternating bass and above all, take your time. Once you get the rhythm and the feel of the bass line then everything else will fall into place much easier. Don't focus on singing right now, just listen to the alternating bass and let it sink in.
