Horton Shuffle

Fourth Chorus Breakdown

Hey Everyone!

This week we will start the 4th chorus of my tribute to Big Walter Horton. I will go into something I refer to as a “lop-sided” triplet, including scoops and dips, as well as an articulated and staccato ending section. Remember to break down these little sections I teach as exercises for yourself with any technique that is new to you before tackling the entire chorus…this will make your life much easier!

I hope you enjoy this section of the tune!

Dennis
