Breakdown of 5th and 6th Chorus

Hello Fellow Harpers!

This week we tackle the next two “riff” choruses of “First Class”. The first of which really needs your attention on differentiating between the half- and whole-step bends on the 3 draw. This is where practicing with a tuner really pays off! When practicing them with a tuner, try to get as close as possible to pitch, then hold it for a few seconds, and alternate between the two notes. The second chorus has more blow notes utilized, including some percussive 1 blows.

Make sure you are comfortable repeatedly playing this lowest note on the harp, and I’ll see you next time for the next two choruses!
