Warbles and Flutters

Warbles is a technique where you alternate very quickly between two adjacent notes on the harmonica.  It’s a technique used by almost all blues harmonica players .. most famously by Little Walter. Flutters are a form of Tongue blocking where instead of fully blocking the notes .. you ‘flutter’ your tongue on a set of notes to create a beautiful effect. Links for the lesson and practice tracks are below.

The most important thing about doing a warble is that is should be even and smooth.  Think of a dog shaking off water and you get some idea of what to do with your head.
