Sonic Shuffle > Soloing with Chord Fragments

Hello Folks,

This week we are moving out of first position and focus on 2nd position, double stops and melodic blues concepts building each chorus with several different ideas to make each chorus more interesting by employing ideas like repeated riffs and chord fragments along with many other ideas to build a solo to a climax. Keep working on your 12 choruses and get ready to post a video of your ideas. I have one more lesson going over over the entire concept here. See you next week.

Enjoy,

Duke

Hey Duke! I love the track, this is really going to be fun. One thing I'd like to ask if you could show some ideas for stuff to play during the stops. I'm more accustomed to having three stops, like: and-one [break]...and-one [break]...and-one [break] where the rest of the break is two measures. On the track, it's: and-one [break] and-one [break] and you have three measures to play over. So it's a real different kind of phrasing required. Hope that makes sense! Thanks Duke!
