Leopard Boogie

1st and 2nd Chorus Breakdown

Hello Sonic Junctioneers!

Glad to be back with my new study piece - “Leopard Boogie”. This piece takes most of its inspiration from the two great Walters of Blues Harp - Little Walter Jacobs and Big Walter Horton. In these sections we will do some scoops and dips, lots of Blues Scale licks, and plenty of trills. Also, throughout this piece there will be a lot of rhythmic shuffle chording, so be sure you are working on your Shuffle Rhythm technique.

Grab your C harp and get ready to combine some great aspects of both Walters in this piece!

Dennis
