Hello All!
We’ve got a new song this week: The Last Thing on My Mind by Tom Paxton. This song is a bit of a folk standard. It was written in the 1960s and has been recorded dozens of times by many legendary artists. It’s just one of those undeniably great songs. Over the course of the series we’ll use it as a template to look at some accompanimental techniques that you could use on any song with a similar feel. We’ll also look at Tony Rice’s beautiful arrangement from Church Street Blues.
