We will start by learning the main riffs of the song and the basic chords we wlll use to play it. If this is your introduction to playing a steady bass with your thumb along with the melody, take your time with it. I suggest first playing the bass and singing the melody as you play it. Pay special attention to where the "1" is while you play. Then learn the melody played by the slide only after you have the bass down.
