T-Bone Walker in G > Chord Comping

Hello Folks,

This week I teach some T-Bone chord and chord fragment ideas that accent the single note lines work well to build to a climax of a solo and also chordal riffs to use behind other soloists. Lots of useful tips here for soloing also.

Enjoy!

Duke

Hi Duke,

Here's my cut at trying to incorporate some T-Bone style licks and chord ideas into my playing. I came up with a head reminiscent of the T-Bone shuffle and tried to fit T-bone ideas into a 3 chorus solo. I finished up with the head to close it out. Thanks for a great lesson and wonderful backing track.
