Playing Aggressive Bass and Melody

Hello All!

This week I’ll be showing you how I play the low variation on the B section using the bottom half of the guitar. I find this part to be particularly fun to play because you have free reign to get pretty aggressive with the guitar in a way that maybe wouldn’t work in most other scenarios. The trick here is to keep your ring finger down on the 5th fret of the low string but muting the 5th string as you play the melodies above. It’s weirdly satisfying to do!

Cheers,

Chris
