Hi Everyone -
This week we look into the second chorus of my tribute to Big Walter Horton - “Horton Shuffle”. In this chorus, like most of this song, we are emphasizing the strong rhythmic feel with the shuffle rhythm technique we talked about in the last lesson. The theme lick for this chorus changes for the IV chord, and has a slight interesting change to the turnaround figure.

Hi Dennis,
when playing those upbeat-chords in the first decending line what holes do you actually play and in what direction? Is it the single note together with the three holes to the left in the same direction you've played that single note before (that's what it sounds like to me) or do you play the same chord everytime on draw or blow notes depending on where you are in the progression?
