Crawlin' Kingsnake

First Half of First Verse Breakdown

Hey Sonic Junction - This week we'll begin utilizing that foundational rhythm we introduced last week. In this lesson we'll combine that simple rhythm with some simple licks - The licks are simple, and the accompanying rhythm is simple, but when you get it down - when you can keep it in the pocket, and execute with some tone, texture and attitude, you'll be bringing this "Kingsnake" to life! And remember, this is a solo piece, so it's imperative for us to stay right in the pocket.

Get into it. Feel that rhythm and ride that groove!
