Lotus Blossom > Soloing, B Section

Hello Folks,

This week we finish up Lotus Blossom and I hope you are having fun with it. This weeks lesson starts with ideas with soloing on the bridge. I give some examples of riffs and thoughts on how to approach soloing over the changes which are very close to the A section changes. I love the actual melody to the bridge and playing close to that melody is something that is always a good idea. The last A can be a variation of the melody if you'd like or an improvisation. I like to do a tag at the end of the last 4 measures and repeat it twice with a retard at the break after the tags. A minor with a 9th on top always sounds good to me. Have fun with it and

Enjoy!

Duke
