Johnny's Blues > Backing Track

Hello Friends,

This week we have the track for you to play to for Johnny's Blues. It's in Bb and playing this head with the track is good practise for getting your left hand used to moving chord positions. Plus there are choruses to solo over which is always fun! So far I have two choruses constructed for you to base your solo off of if you wish. Whatever you do, have fun with it!

Hi Duke,

Here's my take on Johnny's Blues. I upped the tempo to about 120 and made my own backing track so I could try to do some harmonization like you did in the video with Paul. Another great lesson. Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks, Marty

Hey Duke! BTW, I'm feeling great; all is going well. Anyway, here's my take on this. Hope you like it! Hope you have a wonderful holiday and happy new year. Here's to 2020. Bruce

PS Really nice playing Charlie and Slim! It was inspiring to see your videos.

PS I wanted to share this with you. Wrote and recorded a Christmas song. Sharing with you because I couldn't play a note of this if it wasn't for you! Hope you like it - very merry Christmas to you and yours : ) https://www.facebook.com/BigMamasDoor/videos/2555670014679152/

Hi Duke - thanks for this, love this tune (and really LOVE the duo version with you and Paul). As ever here's my first cut for any feedback : )
