Hi Folks, this weeks lesson is the melody to the first half of "If I had you." I demonstrate exactly how I play it and show a few optional riffs and harmony to the melody. I also discuss the song and different versions of it and how I embellish the melody my own way.
Enjoy! Duke

Hi Cesar, Very Nice! I like your own interpretation of it. The only thing you need to work on is the end of the bridge going back to the A section. You can play a simple minor arpeggio on Dm7 C#m7 and Cm7 there resolving to F to end the bridge. Good job! Duke
Hi Peter, That's really good! Really nice tone also. Good work! Duke
Hi @Duke
I want to compliment you on the backing track. Playing with Brad and Mark is *much* more fun than my drum machine :-D
Here is a progress report playing with said track
Cheers

Hello Duke and everybody!
Beautiful melody, love it.It´s difficult to play in this slow tempo, the prashe in D minor to go to the I..uff. And really love the one which gets to the bridge.I will try to do my own aproach to the melody. Thanks again
Very nice , Thanks Duke .
