Hi Duke! I've been working on this for a while now, and I think I'm finally getting a handle on this. Really pretty arrangement and fun to play.
I thought I ought to get this part together before moving on to the next part of this lesson, so I've been working on this one for weeks and weeks!!!
Hope the recovery is going well. Best Regards, Bruce
Hi Michael, Welcome to the club! Your video was very good. Nice job and feel! Duke
Peter, Very good start on it. Once you play it more you will relax a bit more on it. As you work on it more, try adding a few of the grace notes in. Its good that you slowed down a bit. We did do it a bit on the brisk side. looking forward to hearing more! Duke
Hi Roger, Good job! I am really digging everyone picking up on the nuances of this tune. makes me proud! Duke
Hello Miguel, Welcome aboard Sonic-Junction! You can skip around all you'd like here. Many of my students are interested in all the areas of blues and swing so feel free to pick and choose tunes you want to learn. Enjoy! Duke
Hi Duke,
Before I get started on the soloing lessons, here's where I got to with the melody. As you can hear, I slowed the backing track down to 120. I included that also if anyone else needs it.
Great tune!

Hello...i'm new at the lessons, and I would like to know if i should start from the oldest or i can jump from song to song...
Gracias
Joined up about two weeks ago and have been way too busy going through all the back lessons to actually post a video. I can't tell you how amazing it is to learn these songs from Duke himself. A real privilege. Anyway, this is certainly not a perfect take by far and I just started getting buzzing on the 1st string at the 12th fret the other day, so please forgive that, as well.
