Silent Night > Melody

Seasons greetings everyone! The holidays are here and for that I thought I'd show you a simple but beautiful version of Silent Night. We're putting the guitar into drop D** and really letting the resonance of the guitar do most of the work for us. Resonance really is the keyword here; you want the richness and sustain of the low notes to underpin the plain melodic motion of the song. Together they create a real synergy that is simple and beautiful. I hope you have fun with this one!

Happy holidays!

Chris

**low E string tuned down to D, the rest of the strings stay at standard pitch; D A D G B E
